The artwork is signed in the lower left corner by the artist, Fanch Lel. This work of art is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use with soft pastel colors and set in an elegant antique frame.
Fanch Lel is a Breton artist known for his work in painting since 1955. His artistic style primarily focuses on small oil and gouache paintings created on simple boards. These artworks beautifully depict the charming scenes of everyday life in Brittany, a region in northwest France.
