The artist Ajit Kumar Das* here pays homage to Kamadhenu or the Sacred Cow, the iconic symbol of wealth, strength, abundance, selfless giving and earthly life in Hinduism and Buddism. This contemporary interpretation of the symbol uses centuries-old techniques of hand paintings for the modern home and its eclectic environs.
