Born in Italy in the mid-20th century, high-quality hand-crafted solid wood construction, exceptionally executed in luxurious 18th century Venetian Baroque Louis XV taste.

Hand-painted, gilded and gessoed, featuring a shaped top with elaborate molded edge, serpentine shaped case in green ground paint-decorated finish with yellow scroll flourish and beautiful polychrome florals, finished on all sides so it can be placed anywhere in the room, and fitted with five dovetailed drawers each affixed with the original simple patinated brass pulls. Having a large central drawer, flanked by two side drawers to each side, above a gently curving scalloped apron, rising on carved giltwood acanthus leaf knee cabriole legs, ending on whorl feet.

Markings / Signed; stamped under center drawer "Incisa 3" set within a diamond.

Good original unrestored antique / vintage condition with heavily worn intentionally distressed patina. Strong, sturdy, stable, structurally sound.
