This gorgeous piece depicts a peaceful extensive countryside landscape scene with trees, two huts of earth and straw and mountains in the background.
It is well detailed and makes great use of natural colors. It has been mounted in a wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.

Bianchina, a self-taught painter, was born in 1932 in Johannesburg. His mother was a known landscapes artist from Europe and as a result, he started drawing and painting from a very young age. Today he only paints in oils and is recognized locally and internally for his art. Solo exhibitions include Germany, Austria, England and South Africa.
