Crafted circa 1760, the substantial piece is richly hand carved in the Baroque manner, featuring bold scrolling volutes, layered acanthus leaves, and deeply molded architectural detailing. The sculptural form projects confidently from the wall, creating an elegant platform for displaying a bust, urn, religious figure, or treasured decorative object.
The rectangular top retains its original wood surface with centuries of authentic wear, adding character and historical depth to the piece.
