An early 20th century French Louis XV style bronze mounted marble top marquetry commode, finely crafted of solid mahogany with inlaid veneers of walnut, mahogany and various exotic woods. Elegant serpentine form and slender cabriole legs. French Polish finish retains a nice luster. Two dovetailed drawers with working locks and one key. High quality polished cast bronze hardware. Beautiful red marble top with ogee profile edge. Note: the marble was cracked and has been professionally repaired. Perfect scale for use as a side table or nightstand. Circa 1900-1910
