This is a fantastic single lamp and shade by Sue Johnson of Berkeley Ca. circa 1990. I call the Chameleon Lamp. The panels on the shade are different chameleons and lizards in different places. The body of the lamp is a woven base and a large woven lizard across the front. This is a collectors item and i will sell it with the shade. It is very gold in brown in nature, and i will put the look as almost mid century, but. really it is rustic in nature and very organic in look.
The shade is 8 sided. Each panel has an animal in a hot tropical setting, and the way the light is centered, it appears each panel has a hazy sun setting or rising over the view. This is a very cool design.
(in the box the designer is known and highly sought after and should probably be added to your list of designers.). less
