This spectacular handwoven wool antique French Wall Hanging Tapestry come in a pair with a price of $2500 each. This is a one of a kind antique wall hanging from the late 19th century, circa 1880. Composed of wool, it is a flat-woven, with no pile. It can be hung on your wall with Velcro (not provided), with a tapestry rod (not provided), or with nails.
The meticulous details depict a noble lady with the unicorn on her left and a lion on her right. The pennants, as well as the armor of the Unicorn and Lion with this tapestry’s well-balanced composition and refined color palette, it allows the viewer to absorb the depth of the artist’s work.
