Bidjar is a well-known carpet provenience of Iran. No wonder, that this carpet attracts imitators. Indo Bidjar carpets are such imitations from India. Indian knotters orientate themselves on the rolemodels from Persia. They use less knots and the carpets become more coarse, but which also makes them perfect for everyday use. Because of the less time-consuming work, these imitations are also cheaper. Therefore, Indo Bidjar are perfect for price-conscious friends of oriental design.
Indo Bidjar, just like their rolemodels, often show the Herati pattern. In the midfield you can find a medallion, which gives a structure to the carpet.
