Effortlessly chic and versatile with grandeur style and texture, this antique Persian Heriz rug charms with ease. The distinctive geometric design and refined color palette woven into this piece work together creating a classic yet modern look. The abrashed red field contains a superimposed octofoil medallion anchored with palmette pendants. An allover rectilinear pattern composed of angular floral vines, blooming palmettes, lanceolate leaves and ambiguous motifs further ornament the field. Radiating from the corners are equally elaborate spandrels echoing the designs within the field. It is framed with a classic Samovar turtle vine scroll border enclosed with an inner and outer meander guard border. Iconic in its styling and modern sensibility, this antique Persian area rug emanates so much character and warmth.
