Little bureau à pente / d’âne, louis xv style, floral marquetry, napoleon iii, s. Xix - france
exquisite little bureau à pente made in the france of the napoleon iii era, mid -nineteenth century. It presents extraordinary marquetry of good invoice; different woods are used for ornaments, both polygonal and floral of great delicacy. This is achieved thanks to the combination of sheets of different tone (pink stick, violet stick and paisandro). This light desktop is built on four galveadas, the two strikers with sablots. In its front profile front, it presents a record with two shooters and one the folding writing tray, bureau himself, with garnet punch. This discreet folding service fronts houses two small drawers and more compartments inside. All garrisons, including the shooters, are golden bronze and then chiseled.
