A set of cabinetmaker made benches / shelves / room dividers in solid oregon pine, denmark 1960s
designed in the manner of iconic danish architects knud friis & elmar moltke nielsen and rainer daumiller, known for their nordic, soft and organic interpretation of brutalist design.
sturdy and elegant at the same time these two benches can be used as simply as benches with storage underneath or stacked upon each other as a sculptural a room divider or a pair of shelves.
the set displays a minimalist and light design with brutalist turned legs in solid oregon pine. And a striking pine wood grain pattern, with a golden glow.
they have been refinished and given a new coat of oil and are in good vintage condition.
