Important French ceramic vase by Jacques Pouchain / Atelier Dieulefit in cream glaze with brown geometric decor.
Signed.
Jacques Pouchain (1925-2015) left Paris and set up a studio in Dieulefit in the Drôme region of Southern France in the 1950s. He produced utilitarian work as well as decorative items, first inspired by the animal word, then evolving towards abstraction.
