This piece is stoked with imagery and icons. Immediately recognisable in this painting are the Statue of Liberty, and the Guardian Angels, but there are other, more subtle images throughout this Sharp Edge New York City Style Neo-Expressionist work. The painting itself is as big and bold as the statement Berlin is making, it's an appeal for the basic human right to liberty which many believe is being eroded. Whether you love this painting or the message it conveys, there is no doubt that it packs a punch as a statement piece of contemporary art.
