Chinese Yumu wood (Northern Chinese elm) stool in the Ming taste. The waisted and bull nose frame and panel top is engaged to the rounded framing elements including the leg posts. The legs are joined under the table frame with a continuous camel back rail, which have been carved to appear to wrap around the upper leg posts.
