This 'Harmony Art Ware' dip-glazed earthenware vase was designed by Eric Slater and made by Shelley Pottery, Longton, Staffordshire
The Harmony Art Ware Collection dates from the early 1930's. The streaked, dripped design in bright colors was created by Eric Slater - Shelley’s lead designer - in 1932 and the collection was exhibited at the British Industries Fair in 1933 with great success.
Several pieces of the Harmony Art Ware are in the Victoria & Albert Museum Collections in London
