The lintel is a common feature in Hindu and Buddhist temples, palaces, and other monumental buildings from ancient to medieval times in India.

This antique Indian lintel features a finely carved Ganesha figure in the center surrounded by lovely floral work around it. Carving has a washed light brown teak finish with remnants of original painted color in green, blue and white hues.
