Antique mid to late 19th century Italian carved marble fountain of extraordinary detail, depicting Putti wrestling a classical dolphin. This beautifully carved fountain features three charming figures who rest on a base seemingly of sea spray and marine flora. Further marine elements include a turtle and fish who serve as additional water spouts. A large mythological style dolphin rises from the center to dramatic effect and serves as the central water spout.
* Please note: Fountain has stress fractures and two of the three spouts have chipped marble and two of the Putti hands have damaged fingers (please see photos).
