Cube sculpture or resin paperweight attributed to the French artist Pierre Giraudon. Features old industrial elements of an automobile engine. Car gears fit into layered cast resin. A natural yellowish coloring due to time is visible on the material. There is no maker's mark. Pierre Giraudon has combined art, nature, and science by perfecting the technique of molding flora, fauna, and all industrial elements in resin.
