Italian bamboo, rattan, wicker centerpiece, or bowl with brass trim, circa 1960. Mid-Century Modern decorative basket, handcrafted in Italy. Ovoid shape with see-thru design and polished gilded brass edge. Reminiscent of Gabriella Crespi's designs. There is no visible maker's mark.
The polished brass trim on the basket is reflective, it retains an overall smooth surface, with some photos showing reflections.
Measurements: 13.57 in wide (34.5 cm) x 11 in deep (28 cm) x 3.57 in high (9 cm).
