Helen Wagner Malta (1912-1975) worked in New York City in the 1930s, teaching at the Harlem Art Center and working on the New York branch of the WPA graphics division. The works from her estate listed on Chairish are from a cache of disbound sketchbooks. Her work is included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the National Gallery.
