This … Read more This really is a Great Looking & Unusual Antique American Primitive Hoop Handle Carry Basket. Circa Late 19th Century. This is a Larger Size Basket Measuring Approx. 9 inches Tall at Top Rim and 18 inches Tall Including the Handle. It is Approx. 15 inches Wide - Long at Top Rim.. It is Completely Hand Made and Substantially Hand Woven out of a Unusual "Cord" Style White Ash Wood Splint - Strong and Made to be Used. Very Nice Workmanship and Detail in the Weave - Obviously Made by a Seasoned Basket Maker. It also Has Steam Bent Oak Components - Handle - Top Rim & Internal Side & Bottom Ribs - "Skeleton". It is in Very Good All Original - Untouched - Just as it has Survived Over the Years Condition. It has had No Cosmetic Restoration - Cleaning Etc. It has that Wonderful Authentic Age and Use Acquired Patina that Cannot be Duplicated - Displays Very Nicely.It is in Strong - Sound & Perfectly Usabel. Note that there is an Area that Has Some Very Small White Spots - Splatter Marks. I am Not Sure Exactly Were it was Made but Purchased This Piece in The Lancaster Pennsylvania Region and it Could Very Well Be From that Area.

It Measures Overall 18 inches Tall Including the Handle.
