all our lights are checked and tested. Because of the lower voltage standard in the usa (110v vs 220v), european lighting can be safely used in the usa. If a lamp has a plug, only the plug needs to be replaced. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
