A very unique item that I believe is from the early 20th century. It is a silver plated egg warmer.
One would pour an inch of hot water into the base, and then put 6 eggs in there to keep them warm.
This piece is still in perfect working order with the original interior insert intact. The silver plating has very mild tarnish and some speckled spots of wear here and there, but no large patches of silver loss.
