A lovely French Louis XV - XVI Transition style bedside cabinet (nightstand or end table). circa 1940s
Hand-crafted in France in the mid-20th century, featuring a stunning variegated marble top with dramatic veining, atop solid oak wood carcass wrapped in exotic kingwood, palisander rosewood, and rich mahogany parquetry inlays, fitted with a single dovetailed frieze drawer over double-door cabinet, affixed with original patinated gilt brass pulls, flanked by elegant rounded corner posts above scalloped apron, rising on transitional cabriole legs.

Great original unrestored vintage condition. Beautifully aged patina. Wear consistent with age and use, including may have minor scuffs, light scratches, scattered losses, nothing that detracts from the display or functionality but only adds to the antique character, elegant warmth, and rich historical depth that can only be acquired over long periods of time
Delivered cleaned, waxed, polished with hand rubbed French patina finish.
