Like mother, like daughter? This poster is one of several vintage originals we are currently selling. They were used to promote the latest issues of popular magazines at newsstands, drugstores and other places where they were sold, and they are real timepieces. This one , produced for the July 1944 issue, has a great trompe l'oeil look to it, with everything this well-traveled woman has on her dresser in addition to her reading material. (I want to read that Pearl S. Buck story.) Who is she, and where is she going? Can I come too?
