This large ceramic eagle was imagined in 1932. It is part of a seine of animal ceramics from the Hirschauer Keramik workshops. Impressive play, the treatment of the subject in the expressionist spirit of Art Deco productions makes it particular and interesting. The angles are supported, which reinforces the character of the raptor, the colors are bright. Decorative object apart, ceramics are full of presence and presence.
The Hirschauer Keramik eagle is in good condition, some discreet shortcomings should be noted. He is signed HK on the base and carries brands on the back.
