Beautiful watercolor of a farmyard with red barn, brown cows and rain clouds in the background. By Thelma Fike Rodenhorst (American, 20th Century). Signed "T. Fike Rodenhorst 8/40" (August 1940) lower right. Paper tape for watercolor used by the artist remains on all borders. Small repair to paper on back. Unframed. Image, 13.25"H x 17.25"W.
Thelma Fike Rodenhorst was a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she joined Alpha Delta Theda. She taught art at Grand Island schools.
