A late 1950s eye catching marble table with three elegant swans as its base.
I don't know if the swans are carved out of wood or plaster, but in either case, each gold bronze color swan is beautifully detailed.
The wonderfully scalloped marble table top is white with grayish brown veining. I believe it could be Carrara Calacatta Marble from the Apuan Mountain range in Italy. The marble is a hefty 1" thick. It is in excellent condition.
This table has no issues with only some table base nicks and scratches appropriate to its age. However, I would think that it could be touched up easily.
Although no longer has a maker's mark, if it ever did, and no paper provenance, it has a familial provenance. I can say, with no reservations, that it was purchased in New York in 1959 from a high quality shop that dealt exclusively with Italian imports.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
