This hand crafted Japanese studio art pottery speckled stoneware bamboo handled teapot was made in Japan and it was made in the 1970's. This teapot was hand crafted by a skilled ceramist who hand glazed this piece with an abstract modern art style bamboo floral design in a dark blue color with a thick brown glaze for the outlines. This hand crafted bamboo handled teapot measures 8 1/2" wide with the spout by 8" tall with the handle up and it is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the teapot for the age of it.
