Circa, 1940, large hollow hand made pottery bust of a woman wearing a glorious sun hat. Her hat is hollow which could easily hole a vase to slip flowers into. Her eyes are hollow, too. Intricate detail adorns her dress, scarf, and even her hair is styled.
Large sculptural ceramic bust of a woman wearing an imaginative broad-brimmed hat, modeled with layered folds, floral accents, and flowing details. Finished in a glossy ivory-white glaze. Formerly displayed in the accessories department at Titche’s in Dallas, according to the owner. Unsigned and unmarked.
