L'oiseau bleu is a print realized by Johnny Friedlaender (Plonia, 1912 - Paris, 1992). Etching on paper. Hand-Signed lower right, edition lower left. Numbered, edition of 5/20 prints. The artwork is realized strongly through expressive strokes of birds and the brownish tone of the background congruent with the structures and colors of the birds. dynamic of shapes refers to the movement of flying, wings are fragmented and morphed into geometric triangles, evocatively beautiful and giving a sense of liberation.
