Vintage circa 1980s artist signed oversized figural carved driftwood chair art sculpture. This nautical piece of art furniture is to die for! The details are unbelievable. The rare skills needed to render a piece like this is obvious. No nails or hardware. Completely hand carved and knotch fit together. Lacquered finish is amazing! Each piece is hand carved from natural vintage driftwood. There are several different species of fish, seahorses, herons, clam shells, starfish, eel, and even a turtle! Signed by the artist as shown "Toi". Picked up by a collector over 40 years ago at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. One owner. Heavy, solid piece. Weighs over 100 lbs. Built to last a lifetime. An amazing piece for anyone!
Made in the USA - Circa 1970s/1980s. Excellent condition - no breaks or repairs.
Measurements - 38.5" H x 35" L x 31" W
Seat height is 21 inches. Inside seat is 22.5" across and 22.5" deep. Arm height is 33".
