This vintage modern original by … Read more Iconic "Coupé 3320 R" adjustable black arch floor lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1967. This vintage modern original by Oluce is made in Italy and features a weighted black base and chrome arch with a simple, yet ingenious mechanism that connects the stem and allows one to direct the light in different directions by moving the cap up, down and to the sides. The stem is also height adjustable and rotatable. Joe Colombo and Oluce are a crucial and inseparable duo in the history of Italian design. The light works well in any room and can even be used in the dining room. Provides direct light; black painted metal base and structure; height is fully adjustable with a special mechanism to adjust the lamp head and the arched arm itself to different heights, simply by loosening/tightening and lifting/lowering, at the handle. The lamp's semi-spherical head or canopy is very complex and difficult to manufacture. It has a diameter of 16". The light measures 48" from the floor to the canopy when in the lowest position, and 65" when raised to the highest. The arched Coupé floor lamp represents an element of space design that allows us to escape the closeness of a central light point. This is a design that has significantly influenced and will continue to influence interior design and interior decor styles around the world.
