Very lovely and elegant marquetry with the use of color and grain of the wood all over , top , … Read more Very lovely and elegant marquetry with the use of color and grain of the wood all over , top , drawers, legs and shelf . this piece is decorated on every side so can be used anywhere not just against a wall good sign of age as during the 1800 hundreds in elegant houses large salon required pieces of furniture that could be place in the middle of rooms for ridding or coffee etc... so they would need to be pretty on any angle , you will find that effect on this piece , 2 drawers , one shelf at the bottom and charming retractable shelf on the side , for a book to candle , that shelf is also decorated in the same inlay work sign of a very good quality piece , we dated this lovely table from circa 1870 . The size is charming 27.50"H on 14.50"W on 10.50" D, the side top shelf gives you at top an extra 9.50 "W on 7 " D, the drawers are 10.50" W on 8 " D, the bottom shelf is 12.50"W ON 8.75"D AND IS 7.50" from the floor .This piece very functional can feet in any room and house and will bring a very lovely touch of elegance See less
