We love this extraordinary teapot, and in fact is one of our favorites! It is majolica ceramic with at least two layers of dripped dark forest green and perhaps there is a slight blue in there, over a crackled cream pot. The condition is perfect, this inside is cream, and while there may be a makers mark on the bottom, it was lovingly covered with felt long ago. We have left it in this original vintage condition. The grasp on the lid is beautifully made, the handle fits in the hand perfectly!
