Very pretty beech armchair with a pretty tapestry in shades of gold and white in the Directoire style - 19th century
The very luminous white and gold upholstery makes it an elegant and refined seat.
Classic, this armchair can be placed in living rooms as well as in a bedroom.

Straight armrests in solid wood.
While the front legs are perfectly straight and sculpted, the 2 rear legs are curved, known as a saber, to give the seat its full style. .
The backrest is rolled up, characteristic of the Directoire style.
Sculpted connecting thimble between armrest and foot.
The wood is carved, at the level of the armrests and the feet, with geometric patterns specific to the Directoire style.
