This is a somewhat rare wood slice cutting board / display stand. I haven't seen one quite like this. This one has been handmade by an unknown artisan sometime last century. It has some cracks, splitting and nicks in it which I think just add wonderfully to its charm and aura even more. I'm not exactly sure what kind of wood it is (Olive? Acacia? Cherry possibly?), but with its bark edges it's very solid and strong and ready for another 100 years of use. It can be used as a serving tray / platter, a charcuterie board, or an interesting decorative piece. All in all, this is a real piece of folk-art Americana!
It measures approximately 13 3/4" width x 12" depth x 1 1/2" thickness / height. It weighs 4lb 14oz. .
