Contemporary portrait wall art utilizing the 18th century Portrait of a Lady wearing blue silk by Thomas Hudson now adorned with a blue and white butterfly. The beautifully dressed woman in a striking blue garment is an 18th century style portrait with a modern adornment, a beautiful butterfly.
Part of a series of works that are a collaboration between Young & Battaglia and Kirin Young that all feature a butterfly obscuring the face of the subject. One of the more unique aspects within this work is the butterfly’s size in context with the woman. In this mid - 18th century style contemporary portrait, fun is being had with the placement of the butterfly but, as with other works in the series, the butterfly isn’t entirely out of place due to the pallet. Here the butterfly is even less misplaced as the striking nature of the butterfly matches that of the woman and it’s as if they are partners in the image.
A perfect piece of striking colour for anywhere in your home but perhaps best used in the bedroom or office to evoke your imagination and display a side of prominence and passion from your character.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
