Made in the mid to late 1960s, this is a round (cheese and charcuterie) tray and carving board composed of Teak wood end-grain that has a lathed rim and bottom. It is stamped on the rear side with the four ducks brand logo and the initials JHQ (Jens H Quistgaard) from the era when Dansk Designs' line of wood-crafted wares were made by Richard Nissen'sTrævarefabrik in Langå, Denmark.
It measures 12" in diameter, 5/8" in thickness, height.

The surface has been gently cleaned, lightly sanded and revived with non-toxic oil and beeswax, yet still retains its vintage patina. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
