Homer Brothers Furniture in Chicago was founded around 1912 by five brothers, Joseph, Abe, Louis, Henry, and Jack who immigrated to America from the Ukraine in at the beginning of the 20th century. They first settled in Philadelphia and then moved on to Chicago where they made use of their wood carving and furniture making skills.
