18th Century French Louis XV Period Rococo Giltwood Mirror.
Elegant, circa 1760 Rococo wall mirror with polychrome and giltwood frame. Exceptionally fine ornate carving displays a high level of skill acquired by the craftsmen. Embellished carved scrolls and lattice decoration cascades down the sides. Elaborate openwork carving, composed
floral and foliate elements create the crest. The original surface of the reverse is also superbly carved.
Condition is overall very good with some imperfection and expected wear.
