The best spaces are a reflection of you—and well embellished with medium mirrors. Although often considered a decorative accessory, we personally up mirrors to second-tier lighting source. Capable of reflecting both natural sunlight and warm, after-dark lamplight, a mirror is always brightening a space—whether you realize it or not. Use a vintage medium mirror in a small space you’re trying to make feel bigger. A galley-style living room does smashingly with one hung over a sofa. The same goes for a narrow entry that might otherwise make you want to suck things in and shimmy. A medium mirror will open that space up, creating the illusion of extra square footage.
