My art is a vibrant tapestry woven from diverse influences and personal experiences. I draw profound inspiration from modern greats such as Warhol, Kline, Basquiat, Rothko, Lichtenstein, Pollock, Takashi, and Kakinuma, whose works have significantly shaped my style.

In my Mini paintings, I channel the bold simplicity of Kline and Kakinuma, starting with the Kokeshi Doll Heads and evolving into a broader exploration that includes Abstracts, Hearts, LOVE, Orchids, and symbolic elements like the Wagasa (traditional Japanese umbrellas) and Hebi (my Japanese zodiac sign). Each piece reflects a unique facet of my creative journey.

My larger graffiti works, a testament to my background as a Creative Director, showcase a playful yet profound blend of elements. From Chinese takeout cartons and origami animals to vintage Chinese matchbook art and retro cartoons, these pieces merge Asian cultural motifs with modern vibrancy, creating a dialogue between past and present.

Repetition of visual elements such as logos, song lyrics, and numbers underscores my personal style—a collage representing various facets of my identity. My art captures snapshots of my mind over time, creating a rich narrative that spans days, months, and years.

I want to offer viewers a glimpse into the multi-dimensionality of my creative consciousness, celebrating both the simplicity and complexity of my thoughts and experiences.
