Dani Schafer is an abstract painter based in northern Wisconsin. She received her BA in studio art from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, and has continued her studies at Massachusetts College of Art, Edinburgh College of Art, California College of Art and UW - Madison.

Her work involves layered color fields and gestural brushwork with a focus on process and movement. Her work has recently been shown in Los Angeles, Madison, St. Louis, Chicago and throughout Wisconsin.
