He has also painted, collaged and sculpted. He has been exhibiting since 1979. His most important solo exhibitions have taken place in Riga (1986 together with his brother Andris Abiljevs; 1991). He has participated in exhibitions not only in Latvia, but also in Japan, Germany, Denmark, Canada and the USA. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
