Anthony Ferrara (1930-2012) was a well known Philadelphia artist who graduated from the Tyler School of Art in 1953, and later studied with Ben Eisenstat at Fleisher Art Memorial. He is perhaps best known for his plein air cityscapes of Philadelphia. He was a fantastic artist, wonderful use of color, form and composition. His paintings are airy, light and refreshing
