This is an incredibly beautiful, outstanding quality hand knotted all SILK rug. 6'-8" x 10'. It has never been used on a floor and is in perfect condition. It is truly a piece of fine art. No flaws, wear, or fade, original fringe. Warp, weft, pile and sides are all silk. 483 knots per square inch.
Condition appraised as "Superior" in 2024 by Sarakesians at $32,000. 100% silk; color morphs from claret to persimmon depending on the viewing angle with the pile.
It has a beautiful flow of claret, red, persimmon, deep blues, creme, and green. Certified appraisal included. This was purchased in 1989 for $10,000.
