Rugs from the Kashan group, which are made in Natanz, a city about 40 kilometers south of Kashan on the street to Isfahan, are among the best standard Kashan qualities and are otherwise simply through the presence of realistic architectural and scenic elements in their otherwise traditional Kashan compositions. In this closely connected example, this variable Natanz feature can be clearly seen in the border.
The rug is new, it was only used as a wall carpet.
This Kashan rug is made of cotton from cod wool. Very fine and dense link with approx. 500,000 knots / m².
