Last year I focused on botanicals. How can I make a flower even more compelling than it already is? It held my attention and I’ll likely come back to it again. Now, in my love for ‘the line’ and the desire to stay with organic forms, I'm exploring grasses. This is solely as a starting point to uncover the myriad of perspectives that one can find in the radical ways that nature presents itself. This is the second piece in what I hope will be a series.
This is unframed. The white boarder in the primary photo is the wall. The painting extends to the edge of the paper.
